The Treasure Valley HomeBuyer's Association has been around since 2002. We were originally created as part of a home building company. We came to Idaho and realized there was a unique need for direction in the buying process. There already were plenty of products, sales people, and mortgage companies. What the valley really needed was help putting it all together in a way that put the customer first.
We started doing monthly, then weekly, seminars designed specifically to teach people about what order to put things in and what choices and decisions would need to be made. Before we knew it, we had helped over 150 families move into homes! These were people who thought they would never be able to purchase a home, and that was just the first year!
As the years passed, we became better and better at helping people find their first home. Local builders, Realtors®, and Mortgage Lenders started to take notice. We always worked behind the scenes and let the other organizations receive the attention, but we never forgot our goal of putting the customer's needs and wants first.
Many people have tried to copy what we do, but they just don't get it! They think this is all about sales for their company, and so they hide their real intentions. We know that this is really about people's lives and helping put families into homes. That is why we succeed where others fail.
We have continued helping people in various ways over the following years. Mortgage programs and markets have changed, and we changed with them.
It has never been more important to have ownership in our communities and country, and the best way we know to do this is through helping our customers, clients, and friends obtain the American Dream;
